Daniel 1 Academy is a home
education center serving families who choose to educate their children at
home. In
Because we recognize that
different families have different needs, Daniel 1 offers home educators several
different programs from which to choose.
In addition to traditional “do-it-yourself” home schooling, Daniel 1
offers even more for families looking for a private school education. We have three programs that combine the
advantages of learning at home with the benefits of having the staff of a
private school oversee your child’s education.
Services

Grades K-12
For
students close enough to visit school once a week. Grades 3-12
Lessons
arrive at home by mail. Grades 3-12
Daily
interaction with teacher across the internet.

Company Profile
Daniel 1 Academy is a church-related school as
defined by the Tennessee State Code and is a member of the Association of
Christian Schools International (ACSI).
As a Category IV school, Daniel 1 is exempt from accreditation.
Daniel 1 Academy opened in 1998 and has continued to
grow and expand over the last 6 years, adding new programs and more staff as
needed. Last year Daniel 1 enrolled over
1,000 students in
Most of the staff of Daniel 1 are homeschooling
parents themselves or graduates of Daniel 1 Academy. The administrators, Jack and Cindy Holman,
have homeschooled their own 2 children from kindergarten through
graduation. Cindy administrated another
church-related homeschool program for 6 years prior to opening Daniel 1
Academy.
